Tutu’s House thrives on community aloha!
Volunteers make a lot happen at Tutu’s House.
The benefits of volunteering at Tutu’s House are numerous.
Volunteers help themselves to better health while helping others. (Corporation for National and Community Service, May 2007)
Volunteers meet more new people, increase their social “capital,” and build important social ties within the community which are all important to good health.
Volunteers enjoy a sense of satisfaction in doing something of value for someone else.
You may have your own reasons for volunteering!
In addition to volunteer presenters, we regularly need help with the following:
- Folding and sorting the monthly newsletter, Ho`o Wala`au
- Delivering the monthly newsletter, Ho`o Wala`au
- Recycling paper
- Recycling HI-5 items
- Caring for our plants
If you’re willing to give us your time, talent, and enthusiasm in other ways, we’d love to hear your suggestions.
